Winter Dry Skin Must Haves

I live in Pennsylvania so once it gets cold my skin gets so dry that it hurts. I’ve tried so many products over the years that didn’t always work with my skin. After trying so many different products I came up with my five must-have winter skincare products that I swear by. Now I’ll be completely honest I will still try other products so this skincare routine will probably change in a few years but these are my go-to products as of right now. I did not include a cleanser in this list because I haven’t found one that is great for my skin yet but I am constantly trying new products.

Sunday Riley Good Genes All-in-one AHA Lactic acid treatment

The Sunday Riley Good Genes All-In-One AHA Lactic Acid Treatment ($85) targets the look of pores, hyperpigmentation, and dark spots and is clinically shown to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles. When my skin gets dry all the dark spots from old acne come out more so this product has helped so much with reducing the dark spots and also providing mositure to my skin.

Key Ingredients:

  • Purified Lactic Acid: Hydrates and exfoliates the surface layers of skin, smoothing its texture, improving the look of fine lines and wrinkles, and visibly clarifying blemishes.

  • Licorice and Lemongrass: Brighten the appearance of dark spots and skin discoloration

  • Prickly Pear Extract: Soothes the appearance of surface redness and sensitive skin.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost gel-cream

The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream ($26.49) helps instantly quench extra-dry skin and leaves it looking smooth, supple, and moisturized.
